Pricing questions
How does VAT work?
If the editor is VAT-registered, VAT is added to the pack price and shown on the invoice. MotionMate invoices its commission incl. VAT on the editor's HT.
How do I get my invoices?
Every order generates a downloadable PDF invoice in /orders. MotionMate also provides a monthly fiscal recap exportable in CSV.
When is my payout transferred?
As soon as the creator approves your delivery. Stripe Connect transfers the net amount (90%) to your bank account within 1 to 7 days based on your Stripe Express settings.
What about foreign currency payments?
All prices are shown in EUR. If the client pays from a non-euro account, Stripe converts automatically — no hidden fees on your side.
What happens in case of a refund?
If an order is refunded, the MotionMate fee is also refunded. The editor's payout is cancelled.
Will there be paid plans in the future?
The model will stay mostly commission-based. Targeted paid options will come (visibility boost, premium verified badge) — but core platform access stays free.
